Head Coach Rick Foster
Rick Foster is entering his 11th year as the head basketball coach at St.Charles High School. He was named the Class 4 Missouri Coach of the Year in 2015 after leading the Pirates to the Class 4 State Championship. Coach Foster has led the Pirates to three consecutive conference championships and two district championships.
Coach Foster is a three time GAC North Conference Coach of the Year winner and back to back winner of the SC Strong coach of the year cup 2014 & 2015. He has led the varsity boys program to a record of 72-16 during that three year stint.
Coach Foster grew up in the Southwest part of Missouri and graduated from Weaubleau High School. After playing two years of college basketball he graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Southwest Missouri State Univeristy and a Masters degree from Univeristy of Missouri-St. Louis in Education Administration.
After coaching at Pleasant Hope High School and Walunut Grove High School he spent 2 years as the assistant mens basketball coach and assistant athletic director at Iowa Western Community College.
After a move to the St Louis area he coached at Ladue High School and Pattonville High School as an assistant coach before advancing to the current position as head coach at SCHS. Coach Foster is married to the former Robyn Weisbrook and is the proud father of 2 sons...Kent is 16 years old and Kyle is 15 years. old.

Asst Coach Jake Panhorst
Jake Panhorst is entering his 8th year as assistant varsity basketball coach at St. Charles High. During Coach Panhorst coaching time he has helped the program to three 20 plus win seasons, three consecutive conference championships, two district championships, and the Class 4 State Title in 2015. Coach Panhorst can also be found working out players in the offseason where he heads up the strength and conditioning for the program. Coach Panhorst grew up in the program himself, playing for St. Charles legendary Coach Gary Wacker. During his playing time at SCHS Coach Panhorst scored 1,444 points which is currently 3rd on the all time scoring list. Coach Panhorst attended Lindenwood University where he played for three years under Coach Dale Ribble. Coach Panhorst graduated from Lindenwood with a BA in education with an emphasis on PE and Health. Coach Panhorst currently subs in the district, and also runs a lawn care company with his brother and also former Pirate Chet Panhorst. Coach Panhorst is married to Stephanie Panhorst, and has two children Porter age 7 and Adeline age 4. Both who will also be future Pirates!
Asst Coach Mark Budde
St Charles High School is excited to announce that Mark Budde will be taking over as the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Coach this season.
Mark is entering his 1st season of coaching.
Coach Budde is a former pirate player playing freshman, jv, and varsity basketball at St. Charles High School for Gary Wacker.
Coach Budde attended Lindenwood University where he played basketball for 4 years under Coach Ryan Cherepkai and HOF Larry “Buddy” Graham.
Coach Budde graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor's degree in business administration.
We are glad to have a former Pirate basketball player come back and
assist the program.

Asst Coach Charlie Meeker
Charles Meeker is entering his 30th season as a basketball coach at St. Charles High School. Coach Meeker is also the varsity baseball coach at St. Charles and has five different squads make it to the final four.
Mr. Meeker grew up in Oakville, Iowa and graduated from Mediapolis High School.
Coach meeker received his undergrad from Northeast Missouri and his Masters from SIU-Edwardsville.
Coach Meeker coached two seasons of basketball at Clark County before a five year stint as varsity coach at Valley Falls, Kansas The Valley Falls squad made one state tournament during Coach Meeker's stint.
